Do You Support Your Club?
Have you ever had that humongous thrill
Cruisin' that trail so flat
Sit back and let that helmet think
How did it get like that?
Someone got up one day and asked
The owner to use his land
It's always an awesome experience
Meeting and shaking a hand.
His brother showed up and cleared a path
He volunteered his machine
The crew moved rocks, stumps and a picket fence
To insure if problems could be seen.
A neighbor came over and placed a sign
That led right to the store
And marked that spot that never freezes
It’s not safe there anymore.
The boys went out and staked the field
They put up markers so bright
With conditions so undesirable
You can still find your way at night.
That lady got up at 2:30
To make eggs and bacon galore
Those hunters would sure appreciate
That food under the orange they wore.
Those members worked hard at ticket sales
For the raffle at the mall
The owner of that new snowmobile
Wants winter instead of fall.
The grooming crew was out till four again
It’s the third night in a row
Man will those riders smile
When they get up to go.
All these people work very hard
At making this sport much better
The MSA looks out for us
So send them a thank you letter.
When my club goes on a special trip
We don’t ever put up a fuss
Cause the people that made the trails we use
Are volunteers just like us!!
So take off that helmet and ask yourself
Do YOU support your club?
I enjoy every moment of it
